Enrollment Advisor

As your primary contact when you inquire at Walden University, your enrollment advisor will spend time understanding your educational goals, answering your questions, and guiding you through the application and admission process. Your enrollment advisor will respond quickly to questions about the online learning process and make sure that you have a smooth transition to Walden University’s Student Support Team.

Writing Center

As a Walden student, you will have access to the Writing Center, which is dedicated to increasing your knowledge of academic writing and improving your writing skills. The Writing Center provides free tutorial services that address every stage of effective writing, from concept to final draft. With a dedicated staff of editors and tutors, the center offers one-on-one consultations on course papers and recommendations for additional writing guides and resources.

Student Support Team

Unique to Walden University, online Student Support Team members ease your transition to the online classroom with great customer service. They provide technical support and help you to have a trouble-free and rewarding learning experience. Through a user-friendly software orientation, they will familiarize you with Walden University’s learning environment. Once you begin your courses, they will serve as your personal guides, helping you navigate the online classroom.

Academic Advising Team

As a new online student, you will work with an academic advisor trained to answer your academic questions, evaluate your progress in your program, and assist you with university policies and procedures. Academic advisors collaborate with Walden faculty, staff, and the Student Support Team to help make your experience enriching and inspiring.

Walden Library

As a student, you will have access to the Walden University Library, a fully digital library with more than 32,000 electronic books and more than 41,000 full-text journals. Through a virtual reference desk, our dedicated librarians will help you identify, evaluate, and obtain reference materials and additional resources to support your research. The library also partners with prominent research university libraries, including the University of Michigan and the University of Minnesota, to provide you with additional resources.

Tutoring

Refresh your skills or get support in a new subject area—with free tutoring for undergraduate students. Walden partners with an award-winning tutoring service to connect you with certified professional tutors available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Receive live online tutoring in such areas as math, science, accounting, and statistics. An online writing lab offers detailed critiques to help strengthen your writing skills.

Career Services Center

As a student and graduate, you will have access to the Career Services Center’s practical online tools for the complete career planning and advancement cycle, including everything from assessments, career research, and job offer considerations to resume writing tips, networking strategies, and interviewing guidance.
